The project’s actions comprise the planning, design and calculation of the works for the Expansion of the Corralejos Marina, due to the development and needs of the population. The description of these needs:
Area fitted out for social and commercial activities: located at the start of the marina, next to the access point, covering a surface area of 16,887.35 m2.
Sheltered dyke: situated here are the access lanes for motorised vehicles, the divisional and sheltering seawall, and the pedestrian access walkway to the boats. A surface area of 85,944.36 m2.
Surface area of sheltered water: this comprises the surface area for mooring as well as a floating area for bars and terraces at one of the ends of the mooring lines. The total surface area of sheltered water is 384,035.70 m2.
Dry dock zone: the port has an esplanade of 11,658.50 m2 for vessel dry dockage.
Mooring zone: developed over a total surface area of 255,522 m2, this has capacity for 1,084 moorings.
Free coastal area: a free coastal area was assigned located within the sheltered dyke and covering an area of 128.513,70 m2.
The Project covers a total area of 486,867.41 m2.
